Keep a transparent background
Export logos and illustrations with alpha transparency, or add a solid background for a finished image.
Create a WebP image for your website or CMS. Keep transparency, choose a pixel size and compare quality with the actual download size.

The preview shows the generated WebP and its actual size. Lower quality can save space, but inspect small text and edges before downloading.
WebP is a raster format. Keep the original SVG when vector scaling matters; converting a simple SVG does not necessarily make a smaller file.
Upload your SVG or paste the source.
Choose dimensions, transparency and quality.
Inspect the WebP preview and download.
SVG to WebP conversion turns vector shapes into pixels. It is useful for CMS uploads, thumbnails and web illustrations that need a raster format. If your site already accepts a small SVG logo, keeping the SVG preserves scaling and may also use fewer bytes. Compare the actual files before replacing it.

| Format | Useful when | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| SVG | You control the site and need a scalable vector logo | Your destination must accept SVG; linked resources still need care. |
| WebP | You need a raster web image with adjustable quality | Keeps transparency, but the exported pixel dimensions are fixed. |
| PNG | Exact raster edges or lossless output matter | No lossy quality slider; compare file sizes at equal dimensions. |
| JPG | An upload form or document requires JPEG | Transparent regions become a solid background. |
For a thumbnail displayed at 320 × 180 CSS pixels, try 640 × 360 for a 2× display if your layout needs it. Exporting an unnecessarily large canvas can cost more bytes than changing the quality saves.
Transparent is the default. Check your logo on the destination’s actual background, especially if it contains white lettering. An opaque rectangle inside the SVG stays opaque.
Start at 90% and lower quality while inspecting the encoded preview. Compare PNG or JPG at the same pixel size and background. The displayed file size belongs to this generated image; there is no fixed percentage saving for every SVG.
Conversion runs in your browser; your SVG is not uploaded to our server for conversion. Sources carried between tools are kept in memory and cleared on reload. Linked images or fonts may require network requests. Outline text and embed resources for a self-contained file. Read our privacy policy
Yes. Leave the background transparent to retain transparent areas, or select a solid color.
No. A simple vector logo may be smaller as SVG. WebP is useful when your destination needs a raster image; check the actual output size.
No. The quality slider controls browser encoding quality and does not guarantee a lossless WebP. Use PNG when you need lossless raster output.
The converter checks the generated format. It reports an error rather than downloading PNG data with a .webp extension. Try an updated browser or choose PNG.
No. This converter produces a single raster image. It does not preserve an SVG animation timeline or generate animated WebP files.
Yes, in the batch SVG converter. Select WebP there, apply shared output settings and download a ZIP. This page handles one source at a time.
